Our farm meats

The Elmwicke flock of Jacob sheep has a wonderful life roaming around parts of our 150 acre farm. They graze on species-rich pasture that is under the higher level environmental stewardship scheme. Our customers can testify that this makes for deliciously tasty lamb.  

The Elmwicke flock has grown to 40 ewes for breeding, plus four very handsome rams, named Cooper, Captain, Henry and Barnaby.

How to buy our meat

We sell our best-selling lamb and mint sausages at every market. Why not come along and choose some amazing meats now that the darker nights and colder days are upon us? Be really organised and get your meat for Christmas!


We offer our customers the option of choosing their own cuts so they have their perfect choice. Lambs can be bought either as halves or whole butchered to your specification, or, smaller cuts and joints are available. In 2012, we branched out into lamb and mint burgers and sausages, which were very well received by our loyal customer base. We have been told by our customers that they are the tastiest they had ever eaten, and also kept their size during cooking (obviously this is very important!)
